History

CareerEncore was founded in 2006 by Courtney Homer after a decade of acquiring experience in the high-technology industry. Courtney holds an MBA from MIT and was a founding member of a leading Boston search firm’s technology division. During her tenure there, she grew the division’s revenue significantly, personally generating and closing an average of 80 searches per year - about 30% more business than her peers.

Having built a wealth of connections in the industry, Courtney decided to take this experience out on her own, in her family’s entrepreneurial tradition. She felt drawn to recruiting because she is passionate not only about business, but about people and their potential. She understands the value employees contribute to the success of a company.
